My Top 5 Easy Breakfasts for Busy Moms on the Go

As a mom, mornings can often be the busiest and most stressful time of the day. That’s why I've put together a list of my top 5 quick and healthy breakfast ideas for moms on the go. These quick options will help you start your day off right, even when you're short on time!


1. Overnight Oats

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients: Rolled oats, milk (or yogurt), chia seeds, honey, fruits

Instructions: Simply mix all the ingredients in a jar, refrigerate overnight, and grab it on your way out in the morning. - It doesn't get much easier or quicker than that!



2. Peanut Butter Banana Toast - My Kid's Favorite!


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients: Whole grain toast, peanut butter, banana slices, chia or hemp seeds

Instructions: Spread peanut butter on toast, top with banana slices and seeds for an extra crunch.


3. Yogurt Parfait


Prep Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients: Greek yogurt, granola, berries, honey

Instructions: Layer yogurt, granola, and berries in a jar or bowl, drizzle with honey. - Just like the overnight oats, these can easily be made the night before for a quick grab and go breakfast!



4. Breakfast Smoothie


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients: Spinach, banana, frozen berries, almond milk, your favorite protein powder

Instructions: Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy it on the go.


5. Avocado & Egg Wrap


Prep Time: 10 minutes - for the days we have just a little extra time on our hands.

Ingredients: Whole grain wrap, avocado, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, spinach

Instructions: Spread mashed avocado on the wrap, add sliced boiled egg, tomatoes, and spinach, wrap it up and you're good to go.
