10 Summer Finds Your Kids Need

Summer Finds for Kids

It's almost the end of June - are your kids driving you nuts yet? It's okay to say yes. Mine are!

We still have at least one more month of summer and it's time to bring in reinforcements. Below are 10 toys and activities from Amazon for indoor and outdoor use that your kids need this summer.

Honestly, 10 out of 10 in my personal opinion. My kids have played with these for HOURS. We've only had one split open due to a car running over it, but other than that they have been super durable and loads of fun.

Obviously this item targets our younger kiddos, but still a summer favorite. My kids (now 8 and 9) didn't have this exact water, but one similar. Great for kids 3-5ish.

Great for all ages AND pets. Simply hook the splash pad up to your water hose and you're ready to go! A slip resistant mat makes this a safer option than some of its competitors.

The greatest thing I have found with this set is that there are enough pieces your kids won't fight over them. I say that having only 2 kids, but still it's way better than the 5 piece set of rings from Walmart.

We have had these for years and my kids have loved them the whole time. I will say they don't hold the weight of heavier blankets very well, but flat sheets fit nicely over the forts .

How CUTE is this craft kit? I bought this for my kids on our last beach vacation and it was a big hit (especially with my daughter). We used it one afternoon when a summer shower rolled through and it kept them entertained. I didn't realize at the time, it comes with 12 sea shells, but there is enough paint and clay to use on shells you find on your own as well.

At just under $400 this is going to be the most expensive item on my list. However if you consider the amount of money you could save on summer outings in the long run it's actually not a bad deal. Can be used with water in the summer and plastic balls throughout the year. Great for ages 3-9.

As a 1st grade teacher, a writing journal HAD to make my list, right? This is perfect for kids to keep up their writing skills throughout the summer. Have them journal daily or weekly about something fun they've done. - Note this journal is best suited for primary students (4-6). A basic composition notebook or journal can be used for older kids.

This set comes with paper, patterns, and guiding book. Best for kids 7 and up.

This three lane slide comes with body boards for a more enjoyable sliding experience. Easily attaches to your water hose. 20 ft. or 16 ft. options available.

Hopefully something here caught your attention and helps entertain your kids during these long summer days! Have any suggestions of things I should add to this list? Comment below and let me know!
