My husband, kids, dog, horses, and I live in the great state of Texas. How are you feeling this holiday season?

I know this time of year is hard for me at times. As a full-time working mom with 2 very busy kids, I often feel very overwhelmed with everything this time of year. I want to be present and do more for my family to make the holidays special, but I'm often worn thin. If you're also feeling this way, I want you to know you're not alone. It's okay to say no to certain things or not follow the latest trends. Social media has a way of making moms feel like they aren't doing enough at times, but as long as your kids are happy and healthy, everything else is just noise.
